At the heart of Los Desvelados is Doña Chuy, the grandmother who taught the family the essence of cooking. Her kitchen inspired a love for fresh ingredients and slow-cooked flavors. Moving to East Los Angeles,

the family brought not just recipes but a dream to share their heritage.

 

Originally banda musicians, the family combined their culinary journey with

the passion of mexican music, blending cultural artistry with culinary excellence.

Inspired by Las fiestas del pueblo in Sinaloa and Sonora, Doña Chuy’s kitchen, and their musical heritage,

Desvelados brings the lively atmosphere of las fiestas tradicionales to California.

 

Known for its cozy late-night vibe, Los Desvelados is perfect for

after-hours dining. Hand-pressed tortillas, fiery salsas and delicious Miches are customers favorites.
